J.F.R. Perseveranda is the founder, editor, and content creator of PinoyBuilt.com, a Filipino American storytelling and commentary platform. A photographer and former IT Product Manager at Pacific Gas & Electric, he is a 1.5-generation immigrant—Filipino-born, U.S.-raised—sharing stories that bridge cultures across the Filipino diaspora. Born in Makati and raised in Marikina, his life has been shaped by Manila, Chicago, and California. A UC Davis alum and former Mga Kapatid member, he participated in Pilipino Culture Night and performed traditional dances such as Bangko.
